| since I've never personally experienced flat paint on a car, but I imagine it might only look good for a few days at first, then go steadily downhill. Why: - Flat paint is ever so slightly more textured than gloss, no? Giving dust more to catch on and cling to. - I would imagine that grease and oil on flat paint would be much harder to clean completely off than on gloss, and there will be grease and oil under the hood. Just my thoughts on the matter... I could be wrong.
